Having hosted the worlds here in Perth PBC catered for free water and had food available on the player all during the Australian Open and the 2014 Worlds, will this be a adopted by NABSA ?

NABSA are working on something for F&B during the day, not sure if it will happen or not as yet. There will definitely be a happy hour each day after racing except on the days with an official dinner scheduled.

Happy hours will also include a few spot prizes, fun prizes etc.

Andy

There is (was) a small supermarket around the back of the hotels near the staff housing complex, where you can buy water by the gallon (and then fill from the room tap). It's not well signposted and designed for the staff, but we found it last time..

https://www.google.co.nz/maps/@35.61296 ... 823423,16z go down East Primm Blvd and before it turns into desert it's on the right. In can get busy in the morning with blokarters :-)

There is a Subway and shop and a cafe area in the petrol station near the hotel entrance and not far from when you turn onto the paya. They are a LOT more expensive than the small supermarket but Subway does coffee and muesli for breakfast.

Right-click "View Image" (or whatever your browser's option is) to see the full map.

I recommend that you only use bottled water to drink. The local water is safe to drink but has a high mineral taste. Water by the Gal is very cheap. If you are driving from LA a good place to stop for Provisions is Barstol, CA they have a large grocery store. Also refill your cars gas as it is cheaper than Primm. If you fly into LV stock up before you town, Henderson is a good place to shop. The Oasis store at Primm does carry the essentials but is small and has a limited selection. Beer, Wine and Liqueur will be cheaper at a regular grocery store with a larger selection. Now I think the important item are covered.
Barstol also has a In N Out Berger if you are looking for a good fast burger on the way to Primm.
From Primm it is 35 miles to Henderson to stock during the 2 weeks.
