At the 2024 Blokart World Championship Prizegiving it was confirmed that the BLSA in conjunction with Blokart International Ltd and IBRA will be hosting the 2026 Blokart World Championships.

The event will take place at Llanbedr Airfield, a former RAF base near Harlech in North Wales, just a two-hour drive from Manchester International Airport. The venue boasts a spacious hangar capable of housing the entire Blokart fleet, as well as additional space for social activities.

Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Llanbedr offers a plethora of scenic, historical, and cultural attractions, along with nearby beaches for leisure. More information on local attractions can be found through the Welsh Tourist Board.

Given its status as a holiday hotspot, a range of accommodation options will be available, including camping, holiday homes, Airbnb, hotels, and B&Bs. Limited onsite accommodations for motorhomes and camping will also be provided.

Having served as a venue for Blokart races and National Championships for many years, Llanbedr Airfield demonstrated its capabilities by successfully hosting the European Blokart Championships in October 2023.

Exact timing is to be confirmed but likely to be September or October 2026.
