Regulations around Covid-19
We have had a few questions from potential competitors about vaccination requirements. There is no requirement to show vaccination status at any of our venues. Everybody is welcome.
Reminder to people travelling with extras
RNZAF Ohakea Airbase requires registration of all visitors to the base. These details will be passed onto the security team at the RNZAF. Please ensure everyone planning on attending completes the online form
Accommodation
The Manawatū region where the 2022 Blokart World Champs is being hosted has two other major events over the same time as the Worlds. For this reason, accommodation in the region will be in demand. If you have not already booked your accommodation it would be worth acting sooner rather than later. We mentioned in the previous update that a popular option for competitors with motorhomes is onsite camping. There is plenty of space at the Sanson Blokart track for people to camp. It is ideal to be self-contained but not necessary as we will have access to the adjacent hall with toilets on site and cold showers… As the land is being made available by a local farmer for use, we will collect a donation of $20 per campervan for the duration of the event at site.
